CadetCatch Privacy Policy

Effective June 29, 2026.

CadetCatch helps academy families create private cadet rosters, search event photos for possible matches, review results, save photos, and manage family access.

Cadet Profiles and Photo Search

When you add a cadet profile, the name, unit or company, relationship notes, selected profile photo, saved finds, and family notes are stored in the CadetCatch app on your device.

When you start a photo search, the selected cadet profile photo is sent securely to the CadetCatch search service so it can look for possible matches in the indexed event-photo collection. Search results may include match scores, image URLs, and related photo details needed to display possible matches for your review.

CadetCatch does not use your selected cadet photo for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Photos Permission

Photos permission is used when you choose a cadet profile photo, review matched photos, or save an unlocked matched photo to your iPhone Photos library.

Account and Family Access

If you enter an account email or send spouse, family, or cadet access invites, CadetCatch uses those email addresses to check access status and deliver invite links. Invite access is intended only for the invited recipient and must be redeemed using the invited email address.

Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. EB28 does not receive full payment card details.

Tracking and Ads

CadetCatch does not use ads, third-party advertising trackers, push notifications, camera access, or location access in this build.

Data Deletion

You can clear saved CadetCatch data inside the app. Removing the app from the device also removes local app data according to iOS behavior. For help with server-side access records or invite email records, contact support.
