Syncc ("the app") is operated by DIGITAL SYNC, LLC. The app requires no account and no sign-in. This policy describes exactly what data exists, where it lives, and the one situation in which any of it leaves your device.
Everything you enter — your name, date of birth, optional time and place of birth, the people you add and their birthdays, your plans, reminders, check-ins, and history — is stored on your device only. There is no account, no server-side copy, and no sync. The app's home-screen widget reads the same on-device data.
The Coach tab is the only feature that sends any data off your device, and it is off until you explicitly turn it on. Before your first message, the app shows a permission screen that states what is shared and asks for your agreement.
What is sent: your first name, your date of birth, and the messages you write to the coach.
Who it is sent to: our server, which forwards the conversation to OpenAI to generate the coach's reply. OpenAI states that data sent to its API is not used to train its models unless the API customer explicitly opts in.
OpenAI retention: our Coach service requests responses without storage for later retrieval. OpenAI may still retain prompts, replies, and related safety metadata in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days by default, with longer retention in the circumstances described in its published data controls. Disabling response storage does not guarantee that no data is retained. Erasing local app data or deleting the app does not itself erase information already processed by OpenAI.
Your control: nothing is sent until you agree in the app, and you can withdraw permission at any time in Settings. If you never use the coach, nothing ever leaves your device.
We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, we do not use third-party analytics or tracking, and we do not use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Settings > Erase All Data permanently removes everything the app has stored on your device, including widget data. Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app also deletes your data. Questions: richducat@gmail.com. See Account Deletion.
Syncc is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
